Note on OMEMO encryption

The source code in this repository is licensed under Zero-Clause BSD above.
|
|
However, the distributed bundle in `dist/`, once it includes the optional
|
|
OMEMO end-to-end encryption feature, is a combined work that additionally
|
|
carries GPLv3 obligations due to the inclusion of libomemo.js
|
|
(https://github.com/conversejs/libomemo.js). First-party source files
|
|
retain their 0BSD license headers, but the compiled and distributed bundle
|
|
as a whole must be treated as subject to both licenses. Anyone
|
|
redistributing the bundle, including the OMEMO feature, is required to
|
|
comply with the GPLv3 license terms for that component.
